Nibbing

It’s funny to find a blog title that has not been taken…makes me wonder if Pen Nibs has some alternative meaning…something that I’m totally unaware of…I suppose a pen nib could be a metaphor for a penis…well in fact look at the spellings…penis…pen nib…I’ve got four of the five letters of the word penis…is Pen Nibs pornographic…perhaps soft porn…completely unintentional on my part…well…I’m going to check out Pen Nibs with my son Phil…see if there’s some young guy interpretation that I should know about lest I put myself out there as the creator of some soft porn blog…well…let’s face it…my mind went there…but it’d be one way to generate traffic to a blog…my intention is to memoir my pens…to write…to pen nib my way through…you know the other day my husband Tim asked Phil “how’s mom?”…he didn’t realize he was on speaker phone and so his secret life with Phil was revealed…you know…the behind the back stuff that goes on…the gossip about me…the discussions that happen to close ranks…but be that as it may…Phil replied “eccentric”…was that a save on Phil’s part or did he mean it…well okay…I guess writing about pen adventures is a bit nerdy…a bit eccentric…and I suppose it’s a bit ironic to be writing about pen nibs on a computer…but I did pen this first long hand with a totally lovely new fountain pen…mea culpa…
